It has been a long road to finding these big kid approved, healthy meals. Saying my kids were picky eaters, was an understatement. There was a point in time where all they would eat only consisted of bread, cheese, pasta, or peanut butter. They hated veggies, chicken, beef, pork, seafood, you name it, they hated it. But since our switch to real, whole foods, we had to teach them the importance of eating healthy, whole foods over high carb and high sugar foods. It wasn’t fun or easy. It was so hard trying to change what they were used to eating. I felt like they were ruined for life and would never eat a single vegetable for the rest of their life. I had serious mom guilt, because it was all my fault they didn’t grow up eating foods that would nourish their bodies. I failed at teaching them something so important. Over time, their tastes have changed quite a bit and we have found a few go-to meals that are loved by all of our kids!

We focus on lean proteins, green veggies, healthy fats, and low carb fruits!

Breakfasts:

  • Scrambled Eggs (cooked in avocado oil) and bacon
  • Three Ingredient Pancakes/Waffles
  • Egg, Baby Spinach & Bell Pepper Omelet
  • Almond Flour Biscuits

Lunches:

  • Tuna Stuffed Avocados
  • Cauliflower Mac-n-Cheese
  • Grilled Chicken Nuggets + Fresh Steamed Broccoli (or cauliflower mac!)
  • Low Carb Pizzas

Dinners:

  • Egg Roll In A Bowl
  • Taco Salad
  • Chicken Tortilla Soup
  • Zucchini Lasagna
  • Grilled Shrimp & Pineapple Kabobs
  • Sheet Pan Fajitas
  • White Fish Florentine
  • Sun Dried Tomato & Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breast
  • Hamburger Steaks with Cauliflower Mash

Snacks:

  • Boiled eggs
  • String cheese/ cubed cheese
  • Blueberries
  • Raspberries
  • Cherries
  • Strawberries
  • Grapes
  • Sunflower seeds
  • In-house sliced deli meats
  • Organic popcorn
  • Nuts, like walnuts & almonds
  • Apple slices (add a thin layer of peanut butter, sliced almonds, & semi sweet mini dark chocolate chips)
  • Pickles
  • Organic, plain, unsweetened full fat yogurt (add fresh berries!)
  • KIND bars
